RevRdist - RevRdist (pronounced "rev-are-dist") is an instructional computer lab hard disk management utility for Macintosh from Purdue University. It is designed to run in a Macintosh lab to restore individual hard disks to a configuration specified by the lab administrator. Where differences are found, RevRdist can update the local file or folder from the master copy, delete the local file or folder, move the local item to a "junk" folder from which it will be deleted later, or simply ignore the difference. RevRdist does not prevent users from modifying the contents of the hard disk. It does not affect the normal operation of the Mac in any way. Instead, you run RevRdist at startup, shutdown, or other convenient time and RevRdist restores the volume to its desired configuration.
